School Year 2010

Welcome to the school year. There have been many changes at the school board this year, and I am here to tell you that the Challenge Centre will have 10 programs this year, with one teacher: me. That means that I will see less students, but I will do my best to meet the needs of our gifted students.

The Future is Wild

A great group of grade 3 and 4's studied biomes, and created their own creatures, uniquely adapted to that particular biome. Students studied the animal kingdom, how animals adapt, change and evolve over time, and finally, how niches are filled. Great work from a great group of students!










We used The Future is Wild DVD's to supplement the learning. Great ideas in the dvd's and interesting concepts enjoyed by all. You can buy the dvd's from Amazon.com
